WELLINGTON, New Zealand, July 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ Korea IT Times-- The New Zealand Defence Force consisting of the Royal New Zealand Navy, the New Zealand Army and the Royal New Zealand Air Force, has signed a multi-year contract with Kuehne + Nagel.

Under the agreement, Kuehne + Nagel will be the global supplier of domestic and international freight forwarding and customs services. The scope of work includes specialised services such as aircraft support incorporating AOG and engine movements.

Domestic and international logistics is of critical importance to the New Zealand Defence Force. To provide logistical support to over 20 operational missions around the world, in addition to managing the ongoing needs of a military supply chain, Kuehne + Nagel has set-up a control tower with a dedicated global team of experts in key locations to ensure continuity of supply. It will also provide real-time visibility and online tracking tools to monitor airfreight, seafreight and overland cargo movements.
