According to People's Daily Online, America is good at beating its rivals. The U.S. has kept its throne by defeating the Soviet Union and Japan. Now, America has a new rival, China. Thus, China and America are already facing off in a struggle of recriminations.
The President Obama said, "Washington does not have the intension to oppress China." However, America does not admit China is democracy, isn't that oppressing China Furthermore, U.S. does not admit China has a market economy and spreading a theory of a Chinese Military Threat. U.S. is using the Taiwanese weapons sale as a means of showing a tougher face to China. Meanwhile, the sale of weapons to Taiwan could prove to be worrisome for China.
The U.S. has stressed that America and China are in the same boat, which means both nations have to cooperate. It is a very clever strategy. America drives the boat, and China has to help it, because the two countries are sharing the boat. The point is that the leading country is America. Although China does benefit from the system, but the main beneficiary is America.
