Beijing, February 16, 2010 – N. Korea celebrated President Kim's birthday and they held a series of diverse events for the biggest "national holiday."
According to North Korean Central News Agency, the celebration was also held in Ethiopia, Indonesia, Mongolia, India and Iran.
N. Korea held a central reporting convention in Pyeongyang for Kim's birthday. In the convention, Kim Young-nam, President of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, stressed, "N. Korea will try to talk with America to resolve the hostility between the two of us."
