Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) enthusiasts will have full access to the airspace around the village to use their drones for video-taking and photography purposes.

The base comes at a golden time for UAV enthusiasts, as September to November are the best months to discover the village's unique view of shaiqiu, when bamboo baskets filled with colorful produce such as chili peppers and chrysanthemum flowers are sun-dried over roofs and in racks, creating a breathtaking layered vista of vibrant colors against Hui-style homes with their black roof tiles and white walls. This cultural tradition cannot be found elsewhere.
