Solid State Drive or Disk (SSD) works similar as the Hard Disk Drive (HDD), but SSD’s functionality is much faster and more efficient. This is because SSD uses semiconductor technology, which allows it to work faster and there is less damage to the stored data. At the moment the price is relatively high, but once the price is decreased, then it seems to be a wholly new generation of memory storage technology that will replace HDDs.
