NORTH ANDOVER, Mass., Oct. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ Korea IT Times-- L-com Global Connectivity, a preferred manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced today that it has launched a new line of armored USB 3.0 cables for use with industrial computing, test and measurement, data acquisition and data storage applications.
USB 3.0 Armored Cable
These new USB 3.0 armored cables feature premium USB 3.0 cable covered by a crush-resistant armor made of stainless steel or PVC. They provide protection in applications where standard cables would be damaged from excessive force or impact.
The stainless steel armor provides 1,500 PSI of crush resistance, and the PVC armored cables deliver 800 PSI of crush resistance. Additionally, these armored cables boast 24 AWG USB power leads for maximum power transfer and a foil/braid shield for maximum protection against EMI/RFI.
The cables are available in off-the-shelf lengths of 0.3, 0.5, 1 and 1.5 meters and feature Type-A to Type-A or Type-A to Type-B USB 3.0 connectors.
