NEW YORK and HONG KONG, Oct. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ Korea IT Times-- Exiger, the global regulatory, financial crime, risk and compliance company, announced the appointment of Daniel Banes to the post of Managing Director and Asia Pacific Regional Chair based in Exiger's Hong Kong office.

Mr. Banes was previously an Associate Managing Director at Exiger, based in Exiger's New York office in the firm's Global Investigations Practice, where he focused extensively on the independent Monitorship of HSBC. Prior to Exiger, Mr. Banes helped lead the New York Financial Investigations team at Kroll. An expert in forensic accounting, corporate fraud investigations, asset tracing, financial crime compliance and FCPA investigations, Mr. Banes also held auditing and forensic investigation roles with Deloitte.

As Managing Director and Asia Pacific Regional Chair, Mr. Banes will be responsible for building and expanding Exiger's Global Investigations, Financial Crimes Compliance, and Due Diligence businesses in the Asia Pacific market.
