4K Ultra HD Blu-ray & HDR10 Playback Made Possible on DVDFab Media Player
It's been quite a while since the last update of DVDFab Media Player was rolled out in early July this year. Now with the increasing popularity of the 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays and the astounding video image quality the HDR10 offers, the demand on a software media player able to play back the 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays and the HDR10 content on computer is on the rise. Morever, there are already solutions to bypass the AACS2.0 protection on the internet, so playing back the already-decrypted 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays on a computer is technically made possible. Now DVDFab seizes this opportunity and releases the DVDFab Media Player 3.2.0.0 to usher in the playback support of 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays with navigation menus, and in the meantime, offer the HDR10 compatibility. However, there is one thing worth mentioning, to play back 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays with the HDR10 mode, a video card from NVIDIA's GeForce GTX10 series or above, and an HDR10 compatible display monitor are required.
Adding the Full Disc Backup Mode in the UHD Copy
Less than two weeks ago, DVDFab debuted its 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray copy software, the UHD Copy, to shrink the unprotected 4K Ultra Blu-rays down to the regular BD-50/25 size, so that users can back up the expensive 4K Blu-rays onto much more affordable regular Blu-ray discs, without compromising too much on the video quality, because during the compression process, the HDR10 and Dolby Vision quality is 100% preserved. With the newly released version 10.0.6.5 for the 64-bit DVDFab 10 two days ago, users can now compress the entire disc content, or the Full Disc mode as referred by DVDFab, and still retain the HDR10 and Dolby Vision quality, and most importantly, the navigation menus. Therefore, the resulting ISO files produced by the Full Disc backup mode can play perfectly with navigation menus on compatible playback devices, such as the DVDFab Movie Server.
Introducing the Mac Version of the Hi-Fi Audio Converter
Last week, the software company also introduced the Mac version of its Hi-Fi audio converter software, which is actually the 1st on the Mac platform for users to convert the music Blu-rays into lossless FLAC audio files to meet their growing appetite on better-than-CD-quality music. Users who are not satisfied with streaming services such as Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, and the likes are now able to convert their own high resolution Blu-rays to hi-res audios, with a 24-bit/96kHz, even 192kHz sampling rate.
