Trinigy Announces GDC 2010 Line-Up

Eningen, Germany / Austin, TX - March 3, 2010 - Trinigy, announced the release of Vision Engine 8, will be showcasing new technology integrations, workflow and performance enhancements, and gameplay innovations with presentations from well-known partners and customers at this year's Game Developer's Conference. The presentations, which will mostly take place in Trinigy's booth (#1334), are designed to highlight the versatility and performance of Trinigy's Vision Engine 8.

"Vision Engine 8 has been engineered to empower game developers with more technical and creative freedom across genres and platforms," said Dag Frommhold, managing director at Trinigy. "To highlight this, we have invited a number of well-known partners and customers to give technical demonstrations in our booth. I think the audience will be amazed by the versatility, the modularity and the overall performance of our game engine."

Trinigy's line-up at GDC includes:

Vision Engine 8 Presentations - Throughout the show, Trinigy will be demonstrating its recently announced Vision Engine 8. Presentations will highlight new features of Vision 8, the Perforce integration, the Havok Physics integration, Intel 6-core hyperthreaded processor support and more.

"DIZZEL" Presentation - Trinigy's customer, Neowiz, one of the largest Korean publishers and developers, will be showing off a newly designed animation and aiming system specifically developed for its recently released massively multi-player third-person shooter, DIZZEL. The sponsored session will take place from 4:30 - 5:30pm on Friday, March 12 in room 302 (South Hall) and in Trinigy's booth at various times throughout the show.

Spellbound Presentations - Germany's veteran studio Spellbound Entertainment will also reveal how the flexibility of the Vision Engine produced superb visuals in the seamless streaming open world environment of their Fantasy RPG title Arcania - A Gothic Tale. The title, which is set to release on PC and Xbox360, is the seventh Spellbound title to use Vision Engine. This is the first time Spellbound has shown this title publicly.

Ubisoft Demonstration - Trinigy's booth will also feature a playable demo of Ubisoft's upcoming and highly anticipated game, The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom. The game, which was developed by Blue Byte, is due to launch shortly after the Game Developer's Conference.

Partner Presentations - Trinigy's booth theater will feature presentations from leading and new technology companies such as Autodesk, Havok, Ikinema, Intel, MASA, Mixamo, Natural Motion, xaitment and others. All partner presentations will provide examples of how those technologies empower developers working with the Vision Engine with more technical and creative options and a more seamless, efficient approach to game development.
