IVS Technology, a state-of-the-art intelligent video surveillance company in Korea, exported $1.5 million worth of software of the intelligent video surveillance system, named IVS-1000, to Singapore on Dec. 30.
Bae Young-hoon, CEO of the company, said on Jan. 1, "We have succeeded in shipping out IVS Technology-developed software to Singapore."
IVS-1000 recognizes objects (people, vehicle, etc.) on images from CCTV, analyzes their motion patterns, and alerts the information via various warning methods (SMS, speaker, warning light, siren etc.) immediately to security persons once an event (intrusion, fire, violence, theft and dumping etc.) is detected.
To actively advance into the Middle East and Southeast Asian countries, IVS Technology established a joint venture, named IVS Software International, in Singapore in December 2017, he said.
"Through the joint venture and R&D center in Singapore, we will stage overseas marketing activities in earnest to enter adjacent countries," Bae said.
In line with this, the company also concluded a business partnership contract with APW Int'l Group and VISI NUSANTARA KONEKTIVITAS of Indonesia.
Through a joint venture to be set up in Indonesia early this year, IVS Technology also decided to establish IVS-1000 and ISD-1000 in all regions of Indonesia for security of the Asian Game slated for Aug. 18~Sept. 2 in 2018.
ISD-1000, the company-developed abnormal sound detection system, can detect and analyze received sound and then decide whether the sound is normal or abnormal. If it is abnormal sound, ISD-1000 makes the CCTV move to the location where an event is occurred. Therefore, ISD-1000 can control the CCTV-established region intensively with sound detection.
CEO Bae, who has made a success of large-scale exports of the domestic intelligent video surveillance software for the first time in Korea, said, "Now we are actively pushing for strategic business partnerships in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia. Riding on such a strong export performance in 2018, IVS Technology will jump into a global enterprise."
