Professor, Ha Eun-hee of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Ewha Womans University was elected as acting executive director of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology(ISEE). The term is three years from 2018 to 2020.
The International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) is a global gathering of more than 1,000 members from around the world, including medical, epidemiology, healthcare, environmental hygiene, genetics, statistics and policy makers to identify the health impacts of human exposure to the environment and It's a group looking for a solution.
Dr Ha has been recognized for her contribution to improving the environmental health status of Korea through various projects related to the environment such as the "Birth, Environment and Birth Cohort", the first large-scale birth cohort survey conducted by the Ministry of Environment.
Dr. Ha has served as an exchange professor at the Harvard School of Public Health in the United States, deputy director of Ewha Womans University research institute and medical school, occupational health center in Seoul, Korea. Also, Dr. Ha is the director of the National Child Health and Childbirth Cohort Support Center, leading the study of sensitive health and environmental health.
