Ahn Lab released V3 Mobile on March 25, for Android phones and iPhones. V3 Android detects malicious code and provides a prompt treatment. It also monitors every running process in real-time as well as searching out the applications that overly requires private information. Ahn lab is planning to secure further Android platform technologies to expand its business models.
V3 Mobile Plus iPhone checks Jail Break of iPhone. Malicious codes cannot be found in any iPhone since its applications are only to be downloaded at the Apple App Store. Only case of virus attack or Jail Break would be made in banking or stock application, which V3 Mobile Plus iPhone can easily provide protection.
Ahn Lab is further developing V3 Mobile Plus Transaction for every smartphones that will be widely used eventually for simple bank transactions or online shopping. V3 Mobile Plus Transaction protects information leaks in online banking, stock services, and online shopping. "Window mobile plat formed smartphones are in prompt need of a protecting solution. We've been developing mobile security solutions since a decade ago from PDAs to feature phones to smartphones," an engineer from Ahn Lab's said.
