Prosecutors once again raided Samsung Electronics Service Headquarters to secure further evidence. The Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office raided the company on April 18th after allegations emerged that Samsung Electronics destroyed evidence in a systematic manner before the search and seizure began.

The prosecution, which investigated suspicions about Samsung’s DAS lawsuit involving former President Lee Myung-bak, found 6,000 documents containing details behind the labor union’s collapse in the process of seizing Samsung Electronics head office and Seocho-dong office in February.

Among them are documents that contain step-by-step instructions on how to respond to overall union activities.

On April 6th, the prosecution raided Samsung Electronics Service Headquarters in Gyeonggi Suwon Yeongtong-gu district and other residential areas of Samsung Electronics Service executives to secure additional information. Prior to the raid, Samsung Electronics had been suspected of moving sensitive documents to other locations.
