The company has today announced that it has secured major contracts with Sri Lanka Telecom in Sri Lanka and with Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) and Transworld Associates (TWA) in Pakistan. The company has also forayed into Bangladesh by winning a contract with one of the largest telecom operators in the country.
In the last two years, Cable&Wireless Worldwide has developed a world-class, next-generation Multi-Service Platform capability in the region and has grown its portfolio of value-added telecommunications solutions for customers. The Multi-Service Platform has already been rolled out in the Middle East, Southeast Asia & North Asia and Europe, and enables the company to deliver innovative IP and Ethernet-based solutions and value-added communications applications to customers.
