With the emergence of the ‘100 years era’ as a social issue, there is renewed interest in the issue healthy aging. The Korea Healthy Aging Society will hold a symposium on ‘Health in life’ at the 2nd floor auditorium of the Life Science Research Institute of Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital on May 27th at 9:00 a.m.
The symposium, organized by the Korea Healthy Aging Society, will have 15 seminars in four sessions on topics such as healthy again lifestyle, health, disease, nutrition, medical life, and special encounters.
First, the ‘Healthy Aging Lifestyle Change in Health’ session will be given by Paik Nam-sun, director of ewha womans university cancer center for women to announce the following subject matters: how healthier aging in the age of 100 will be developed (Jang Tae-soo, professor of Dankook University of Medicine), checking one's body and disease as a genome (Kim Kyoung-chul, director of TheragenEtex), and what the issue is of chronic fatigue (Park Hee-min, director of Heritagenf).
The second session, ‘Disease and Nutrition, will include lectures on nutritional therapy design through body fat analysis, IVNT (Kim Dong-hwan, President of the Korean Nutrition Society), and the latest knowledge of newly-discovered vitamin D treatment (Choo Nam-seok, professor of Ajou University School of Medicine).
The third session, ‘Medicine and Life’ will include lectures on chronic diseases and the possibility of customized music therapy (Kim Hyung-min, Kyung Hee Medical School professor and immune pathology), and how health can lead to happiness (Baek Nam-seon, director of Ewha Womans University Cancer Center for Women).
The last session, ‘Special Encounters’ will include courses on how life is a drama (Lim Hyun-sik, Actor) and understanding Media Intrinsic (Lee Chan-hui, Secretary General of the Korean Broadcasting Press club, and former SMS medical journalist).
