A Canadian Hyundai Motor Sonata driver said he was " close to death " when his car went off and burst into flames on the Toronto Expressway.

" The car was clicking and rattling and suddenly catching fire, " driver Alan Ziellonko told Global News on June 22. As an acoustic engineer, he was on his way to work on a film that would be released in the fall.

It took only a few minutes for the fires in the engine parts to spread throughout the vehicle, he said.

Ziel Ronko said he was afraid to get out of the car at first because it was dangerous because the cars ran right on their side. After looking for an opportunity, he said the car quickly got out of the car and called 911.

Ziellonko said the power of the Sonata's accelerator, steering and brakes was turned off just before the fire began.

He said he had previously left his vehicle at the Toronto Hyundai Motor dealership for a similar technical problem, which was due to a loss of power.

The Hyundai dealership document said that due to Ziellon's complaint, the car was noisy and could not drive more than 20 kilometers.

The Sonata driver had to replace one rear stabilizer link and two front wheel bearings, and the vehicle was checked for about two weeks.

But after Jiel Ronko got the car back, the fire happened again. It stopped again on the complex Toronto highway 427. It is an inter-Korean highway through Toronto.

Just before reaching the entry lane, Ziel Lonko said the car had lost power again and knew he was in trouble. The car caught fire at once.

Ziel Ronko filmed the car fire on his cell phone while firefighters were rushing to the scene of the accident, contacted the Canadian branch of Hyundai Motor Company and sent photos and videos.

" Hyundai did not seem to be interested in the accident, " Ziellonko said. He replaced his sonata with another car.
