MANILA, Philippines, June 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Two leading powerhouses - Kwai, the No.1 short video sharing platform in Asia and Cornerstone Entertainment, Inc., the No. 1 Talent Management Company for Singers in Philippines announced on 18th May that they had joined forces to organize the inaugural online talent search contest, called "Super K Star!".

"Super K Star!" started on 21st May 2018 and aims to discover talented individuals through a series of auditions conducted via the Kwai application. Contestants can easily showcase their singing, acting, dancing and all kinds of special talents in the form of short videos. They will go through multiple audition rounds and challenges conducted online in the app where they will be judged based on their popularity ranking and their technical skills.
Popular celebrities in Philippines will not only be judges but also as mentors to contestants. The artistes are Asia's Soul Supreme, KZ Tandingan (Kwai ID: 954277117); one of Today's Newest Breed of OPM Artists, Claudia Barretto (Kwai ID: 955105168); Queen of R&B, Kyla (Kwai ID: 954269747); King of R&B, Jay R (Kwai ID: 955175687); and Philippines' Sexy Jazz Singer, Markki Stroem (Kwai ID: 930085303).
Kwai and Cornerstone announced on May 28, 2018 that rising young stars, Kyle Echarri (Kwai ID: 955130188) and Jayda (Kwai ID: 955202697) will also join "Super K Star" as celebrity mentors and judges.
The final winner(s) will get to sign an exclusive Artiste contract with Cornerstone and get to perform in China on one of the largest performing stages in the world. The top 20 contestants will also get to sign a Vodcaster contract with Kwai worth over 100,000PHP. To top it off, one of the top 20 contestants get to win a once in lifetime trip to Korea that includes a special visit to a Korean Entertainment Agency.
To participate, fans and aspiring stars can simply create or upload their short videos onto Kwai include hashtag #SuperKStar.
