
On April 9, 2010, the Korea Electronics Show (KES) Road show was held in Shenzhen, China. Shenzhen is one of the most densely populated areas in China for electronics and ICT. Not to mention there are 15 news media, including the Guangdong TV, China Electronics Times, 170 ICT and distributing companies, which includes: TCL, Lenovo, Skyworks, Shenzhen Huachang bay and Cygar Electronics market.
Attendees showed a lot of interest in various types of Show-in-Show conceptual theme exhibitions held at KES 2010. Also, attendees were highly appreciated that they were able to receive information about investing and future market trends related with up-and-coming technologies and industries such as 3D expo, digital broadcasting, Green IT and convergence.
KES has been chosen as the show for the overseas market, vice chairman of Shenzhen small and medium-sized businesses association announced with his message that they will visit the KES 2010 with a buying mission composed of 100 staffs from enterprises and investment support organizations at Guangdong by registering 50 booths at KES 2010.
Meanwhile, Korea Electronics Association (KEA) has already held the KES Road shows in other countries such as India, Vietnam and Singapore. Plus, KES plans to hold an ongoing Road show in Taiwan on April 23 and in Beijing in May, which is aimed at attracting global buyers.
However, India decided to send 100 ICT buyers and Vietnam officials announced that they will participate in KES 2010 with 30 buyers.
