Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) is one of the top Kenyan colleges offering various certificates, diploma, and KASNEB courses.

1. Diploma in Management
KIM offers eight different areas of specialization under its Diploma in Management segment. Kenya Institute of Management courses offered for Diploma level include Project Management, Purchasing & Supplies Management, Office Management, Human Resource Management, Public Relations Management, Archives & Records Management, Business Management and Marketing Management.
To specialize in any of these areas, you need to have any of the following requirements;
A KIM Certificate in Management
P 1 certificate
KATC final
CPA 1 /CPS 1
KNEC Certificate in a Business related field Or Equivalent qualifications from an accredited institution
KCSE mean grade C-, with a C- in English and C- in Mathematics/ Accounting/ Commerce/ Economics/ Business Studies.
Duration
Each of these courses under the Diploma in Management takes the period of six months which is equivalent to one semester.

As seen from the requirements, the KIM professional Diploma targets three main types of scholars. Firstly, it targets those already working and want to increase their management skills to get a promotion. Secondly, Diploma courses are for bachelor graduates that would like to add management skills to their resumes to gain a competitive edge in the employment sector, and lastly, the classes are for form 4 leavers that want to kick-start their career path in management.

Registration
To duly register for a diploma course at KIM, you need to fill an application form, have two passport size coloured photos, a copy of national ID or passport, and attach all copies of academic or professional qualifications. Once admitted, you can go ahead and pay the necessary fees.
