BANGALORE, India and WARREN, New Jersey, Aug. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/KOREA IT TIMES --

Partnership offers a disruptive approach to connected buildings to dramatically reduce costs and optimize experiences

Mindtree, a global technology services and digital transformation company, and the global professional services company, GHD, have established a partnership to transform how clients in traditional property and infrastructure industries can deploy Digital platforms to help run their business more efficiently and elevate the experience of their customers.

The partnership combines GHD Digital's knowledge of building design and operation, with Mindtree's extensive track record in cloud based, loT platforms and analytics, to deliver efficiencies for clients and communities and create previously untapped revenue opportunities through the collection of data.

They'll achieve this by using a platform-based service to bring together data that may already exist in disparate building management systems, such as energy use, maintenance and occupancy, and leveraging the latest advances in technology to support strategic decision making for owners. Aside from building, this platform also applies to transportation, water, energy and resources and environment sectors.

GHD's Global Digital Leader, Kumar Parakala and Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Asia Pacific for Mindtree, Gaurav Johri, officially launched the partnership in Sydney on Wednesday August 29.

"Many organizations lack integration between building management, IT and financial systems, making it difficult to correlate data and develop an end-to-end view of their assets, especially for clients that operate many buildings with different proprietary systems," Parakala said. "Insights powered by data are the new currency that enables businesses to establish new benchmarks in performance. By partnering with Mindtree, we can draw on the skills we need to deliver 'connected building services' to our clients."

Most building systems work in silos. GHD and Mindtree will break down these silos by integrating disparate data streams into a single 'Connected Buildings' management system. This can lead to dramatically reduced costs, increased revenues and an optimal experience for employees, customers and communities.

"Facilities managers are looking for ways to leverage IoT to make their buildings 'smarter,' save energy and enhance user comforts," Johri said. "Applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to the aggregated data creates limitless opportunities for the property industry to offer a quantum leap in customer experience and operational efficiency. Mindtree is excited about partnering with GHD Digital to help customers accelerate their transformation efforts."
