Bangkok, 4th May 2010 - Advance Agro Public Company Limited, announced its official corporate name change to Double A (1991) Public Company Limited.

Double A premium quality copy paper was launched in 2000. Double A's consistent premium quality and consistent marketing programs has created wide brand recognition and acceptance by consumers across the globe. The Company has exported its premium quality office paper to over 100 countries worldwide spanning Asia, Europe, Africa, North America and Middle East region.

Mr Thirawit Leetavorn, Senior Executive Vice President of Double A said, "Consistent marketing and brand building activities have built Double A into the most recognizable copy paper brand in the world. Today, Double A is available in 100 countries and over 200 million reams are consumed annually by our customers."

In order to further strengthen the Double A brand and to align its strategic business actions with its new vision of "Paper of the World", the Company has decided to change its corporate name from Advance Agro Plc to Double A (1991) to assure its customers, investors and stakeholders of its long-term strategy to advance its global presence. "As the public has known us as Double A, we therefore consider changing our company name to reinforce our global position by adding the established year after our widely-known brand name." Mr Thirawit added.

Effective as of 3rd May 2010, all future business activity will be conducted under the new name. This will, however, not effect any change in the company's management.

The new vision of "Paper of the World" reflects the leadership's ideology of   strengthening Double A's position as a global brand global value for its customers. This vision has evolved from the Company's constant drive to enhanceits premium product through its captive Research and Development center, thereby, exceeding customers' expectations every time.

Double A has played a key role in promoting environmental sustainability and also social development. The Company sources its raw materials from Farmed Trees planted in the unused spaces of farm lands especially the areas left in between existing crops. For the past decade, more than 940 million of fast growing farmed trees have been grown by over 1.5 million contract farmers in Thailand, providing local farming families an extra source of income. In addition to Thai farmers, a number of farmers in near by countries such as Cambodia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Laos are also interested in participating and learning the techniques of growing Farmed Trees.

With the aim to leverage Paper From Farmed Trees concept, the Company has a plan to change its ream wrapper and box to illustrate how this approach can be beneficial to both environment and society.

Double A, since its inception has dramatically changed the paper industry by developing and offering its own premium office paper brand. The concept of office paper has been changed from a commodity to a consumer product by continued brand building strategy and also the premium quality of its product. With its new vision and new name, Double A is even more committed to build on its image as the global premium brand for office paper accepted by its customers worldwide.

In the near future, Double A has a plan to re-structure its finance structure by replacing the overseas long-term fund with domestic bond issuance in order to manage the company funds.
