A new brand in cable reels and cable products is knocking into the European DIY-market. The newly established Dutch company Designcord is launching the first product in their line-up this June: a AUTOREWIND CABLE REEL of 10 meters.
This 10 meter cable reel has a unique and convenient auto rewind roll-up function: just press the button by hand or by foot and the cord automatically retracts. Furthermore this cable reel has fixed sockets. This means that while you wind or unwind the cord, the sockets/plugs and the devices plugged into it remain in place. So no more tangled-up cords. "All is combined in a design created by thinking out of the box" says Michael van der Jagt, designer at Designcord. "The Autorewind function make the product so much more convenient. It gives you the same ease of use as the cord of a vacuum cleaner."
This first Designcord product will hit the market beginning of June and currently the first distribution partners are set-up. Designcord is focusing to roll-out fast and is seeking distributors and DIY-chains in different markets to be signed-up as partner. Interested parties can contact Designcord for more information.
