BEIJING, Oct. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/KOREA IT TIMES -- Hosted from Sep 26-29 in Beijing by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) event PT Expo China 2018 came to a close earlier. With the theme "Digitalization & Intelligence: Shaping the World of Tomorrow", over 60,000 attendees, 580 media and nearly 400 exhibitors gathered to celebrate latest 5G progresses, AI, Tech x Culture, IoT, Smart Driving, and other ICT technologies and applications.

Organizations and companies worldwide collaborated together to picture a truly world of tomorrow, including CICT, China Mobile, China Telecom, China Tower, China Unicom, Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, Tencent, the Palace Museum, Potevio, and ZTE.

Consisted of more than 20 conference sessions and launching events, the show's conference program ICT China High Level Forum 2018 again brought out in-depth debates and fresh ideas on the ecosystem's trendy topics. More than 360 speakers and delegates presented and shared their opinions with 5866 audiences. Much attention was paid to the release of China's national 5G trial results, as well as the ICT China Innovation Awards and the METIS Awards for mobile intelligent terminals.

Over 50 local government delegations from all over the country and 160 company & organization delegations visited the event, and two thematic exhibitions welcomed most intensive visitors. Impressively showcasing digitalization's significant impacts on vertical industries, The Tech x Culture Thematic Exhibition led by the famous Palace Museum (the Forbidden City) and tech giant Tencent creatively explored accessible experience for all to better understand heritages and traditional values by the help of technology. Another thematic exhibition marked the 40th anniversary of China's Reform and Opening up, where highlighted the country's dramatic changes in the ICT area since 1978 while seeing the future.

Even though the event this year has just come to a close, PT Expo China 2019 has been announced to take place from Oct 31 to Nov 3, 2019 in Beijing. The industry now starts expecting what will be going on as the era of 5G is approaching.
