LG Innotek participated in "Electronica 2018", which is the world's largest part-specialized exhibition that will take place from November 13 in Munich, Germany.
Electronica is a large exhibition of some 3,000 materials and components from around the world, including automobiles and home appliances, and 70,000 people from industry are visiting.
This is a business site where business transactions such as consulting on products and technologies are actively carried out.
LG Innotek has prepared display booths with parts from three themes: smart, eco-friendly, and innovative. And it displayed about 50 high-tech parts that enhance safety and convenience of vehicles.
For smart parts, LG Innotek is going to introduce latest components such as C-V2X (Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything) module and Surround View Monitoring (SVM) system that was recently developed for next-generation vehicles.
C-V2X modules are state-of-the-art products that use high-speed mobile communication technologies used for Smartphones and exchange various information between vehicles and objects.
Because it can recognize driving environment quickly and accurately, it is expected that it will be a major part that will increase safety of connected cars and self-driving cars in the future.
SVM system is a state-of-the-art safety and convenience device where four camera modules monitor the surroundings of a vehicle.
It automatically corrects image distortion and displays the surrounding area of the vehicle on a single screen as if it were looking down from the sky.
For eco-friendly components, high-efficiency products such as DC-DC Converter and EVCC (Electronic Vehicle Charging Controller) are welcomed by visitors.
For innovative components, LG Innotek introduces LED modules, wireless charging modules, and thermoelectric semiconductors for vehicles.
