The 2010 IASP (International Association of Science Parks) conference opened for registration at 1pm this afternoon. Delegates, speakers, buyers and science park executives from all over the world began to converge in the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) and Daedeok Innopolis in Daejeon. The session began with registrations and a separate meeting for the members of the board of the IASP.
Board members participated in a tour of Daejeon's new Techno Biz Center (TBC) where they learned more about Daejeon and the Daedeok Innopolis before convening in the board room. The board planned to accept reports, farewell the outgoing committee and discuss matters pertaining to the conference, exhibition and planned board.

The conference plenary (compulsory attendance) session begins in earnest on Monday morning along with the accompanying exhibition in which over 100 companies and organisations will exhibit their Green Tech innovations. The conference and exhibition combination runs from the 24th to the 26th May 2010.
