Established in 2002, Comstar support individual and organizational efforts to reduce carbon footprints by the manufacture of high quality sense nodes  for networked ubiquitous environments.  In conjunction with Union Co. Comstar created Sensnet, for specialization in USN (Ubiquitous Sensory Networks).  Sensnet are both a standard and continue to suggest standards for USNs.

Sensnet, the actual node product, is a wireless solution for networking light, gas, temperatures, microphones and cameras.  In fact, most elements of ubiquitous environments can be managed with Sense Net sense nodes.  The sense nodes are connected to gateways to each type element and networked through customized environments, be it a home or office.

Sensnet's sense nodes are currently sold in Korea, Malaysia and Argentina.  The company is welcoming consideration of offers for its expansion plans and sales goals into the United States of America and China.  Additional to the consortium's sales expansion plans the company have been adept in the application of Sensnet into hospital, welfare, propagation and conservation environments.  Sensnet nodes are on exhibition with Comstar at the DCC (Daejeon Convention Center) until 26th of May 2010 as participant exhibitors in the IASP (International Association of Science Parks) conference and exhibition.
