POSCO to support young people start their businesses through incubating schools for start-ups

POSCO opened a "Start Up Incubating School" on March 4 and accelerate its activities to support start-ups. 

The Start Up Incubating School selects 100 applicants from the start-up items under the age of 49 to provide joint education.

The Program will run from March 4th to March 29th, and all accommodation and education fees will be free.

It will validate specific start-up ideas and marketability, and then assist selected start-ups in preparation from the early stages.

In the future, program recipients can submit their ideas for start-up to POSCO Venture Valley to receive office space and 20 million won in settlement funds when they pass the business feasibility qualification. It is also possible to attract investment in Pohang Funds through screening.

POSCO plans to nurture a total of 5,500 young people over the next five years through "Business Education", "AI and Big Data Academy" and "Start Up Incubating School."
