Netmarble announced today that it will officially launch its new action RPG "The King of Fighters All-Star" on May 9.
The King of Fighters All-Star is the first new game title to be released in 2019 by Netmarble, and will be released simultaneously through Apple's App Store and Google Play.
It is currently in the process of pre-registration through its official site. Applicants will be provided with a variety of rewards, including limited characters, game items and goods.
The game features the highest level of graphics that have kept the original sensibility alive, and an excellent sense of manipulation that allows users to enjoy cheerful action and combo play on mobile devices without a separate controller.
In addition, all the characters featured in the original King of Fighters series will appear, providing fun to collect and grow a total of more than 50 characters.
It was first released in Japan in July of last year, and was ranked No. 1 in popularity of the two app markets right after its release, and ranked No. 10 in sales after five days, based on its high original reproduction rate and unique cheerful action.
"I'm happy to present The King of Fighters All-Star as Netmarble's first new game of the year," explained Cho Shin-hwa, head of Netmarble's business division. "It will be the best mobile action RPG that offers differentiated fun and unforgettable touch to the original fans as well as new users."
