Hyosung will push for the establishment of a dedicated organization (production technology center) to improve production technology capabilities. According to the company on April 25, Hyosung's production technology center aims to strengthen the company's technological competitiveness and nurture experts on key technology elements by linking its research organization Hyosung Technology Institute with its production unit, the factory.
The center will be in charge of reviewing production technology-related facilities, as well as preparing measures for simulation, design, and change of conditions. This strategy is to increase efficiency by reducing errors that can occur in applying research results directly to factories, and to secure specialized personnel for further expansion in the future.
The center is in the process of establishing the center with the aim of June this year. It is preparing to launch a 25-member organization consisting of researchers from Hyosung Technology Institute and employees from the technology team for textile, industrial materials and chemical-related plants.
"The source material developed by Hyosung is the basis of innovative products and is the key to creating a competitive edge for the company that can outpace their competitors," said Hyosung Chairman Cho Hyun-joon from his inauguration.
Under the leadership of Honorary Chairman Cho Seok-rae, Hyosung established and operated Hyosung Technology Institute, the first private subsidiary research institute in Korea, in 1971.
