Maeng, Hyung-Kyu the Minister of Public Administration and Security in Korea opened the IACE (International Archival Culture Exhibition) and concurrent conference in Seoul this morning. The exhibition is to assist with raising awareness of the value and importance of records and archives management.
The exhibition also features items from UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) memory of the world. Exhibitors will also show their technology innovations for record and data management. Among the exhibitors are firsts in Korean stenography hardware, firsts in environmentally friendly preservation technologies and joint ventures that were founded for better record management systems as well as traditional methods of managing records, including traditional Korean methods. The exhibition is an opportunity to view the ways that money and the environment is being saved by Korean document and record management systems and many of the solutions are as applicable to business as they are to traditional record keepers such as governments or universities.

The exhibition is on the first floor of the Coex convention center and runs until the 6th of June.
