On May 8, Humedix CEO Jung Ku-wan (right) and Johnson & Johnson Medical Korea executive Chung Hyung-keun (left) signed a contract to sell their breast implants brand 'MENTOR.'

Humedix, a subsidiary of Huons Global, will join hands with Johnson & Johnson Medical, a global company specializing in medical devices, to enter the 40 billion won breast prosthesis market in Korea.

Humedix said on May 8 that it signed a contract to sell "MENTOR," Johnson & Johnson Medical's breast prosthetic brand, in the Seoul metropolitan area, with its CEO Chung Ku-wan and Johnson & Johnson Medical Korea executive director Chung Hyung-keun present at its Anyang headquarters on the day.

With the deal, Humedix plans to secure MENTOR's portfolio of breast implants to solidify its position as a professional esthetic company at the same time as expanding its new business.

Johnson & Johnson Medical Korea's MENTOR has clinical data and long-term use history accumulated over 10 years and produces breast implants that have obtained U.S. FDA and European CE and ISO approval under strict production and quality regulations.

It has also developed differentiated breast implants of various sizes, shapes, natural designs and resilient touches, making it into more than 75 countries around the world.

"We have signed a sales contract with MENTOR, a global brand specializing in breast prosthesis, as we have received recognition for our expertise in Humedix's esthetic business," said Humedix CEO Chung. "We will do our best to further solidify MENTOR's position by combining our sales network and know-how and capabilities built by our esthetic business."
