MH2 Biochemical was established eight years ago by researcher Mason Kim Ph.D., PE.  The company conducted research on a traditional remedy for curing hangovers and made some very interesting discoveries from humble shellfish.  Dr Kim's research uses shellfish that are specific to the Korean salt/freshwater crossover ecological system that is found where rivers meet seas.  On analysis the ingredients to the traditional cure consisted of amino acids with special properties.  Those special properties were found to be able to be concentrated and used in retail products.

1,200 shellfish extract comprise the cure named Chi-sun [Korean Latin].  The active ingredient is L'Ornithine-HCI.  In trials, "volunteers took either 800mg of L'Ornithine-HCI or a placebo daily for three weeks and the results suggested significant improvements in favor of L'Ornithine-HCI for a better complexion, reduction of blemishes, wrinkles dryness and roughness as well as increased elasticity."  The cure can be taken with water or juice either before or after an event with the same effect.  Chi-sun can be purchased in Korean pharmacies for approx. KRW5-6,000 for three cures.  The cure is also available at Incheon and Gimpo international airport pharmacies.

MH2 have also researched a wrinkle reduction product from the humble carrot named, Beauty Carotene as well as L-Citrulline for fertility, from the watermelon.  Technology has enabled MH2 Biochemical to refine their extraction process and they produce their extracts in commercial quantities that are available for research or OEM.
