JW Medical has introduced a new product that has improved diagnostic efficiency.
JW Medical, a subsidiary of JW Holdings, said on May 29 that it has launched Hitachi's ultrasound imaging device "ARIETTA 65" and has begun full-scaled marketing activities.
ARIETTA 65 is a video diagnosis device that increases convenience and efficiency of use based on image processor of premium product line "Aloka ARIETTA 850" that was released last year.
This product is characterized by applying 'battery mode' so that it can operate without using power from an outlet. In battery mode, continuous scan time is 60 minutes, the longest among ultrasound imaging devices released on the market. Patients also can easily check in the hospital room because it is convenient to move around.
In addition, the functions of removing unnecessary images, such as noise from examinations, are significantly improved to provide clearer and more stable images in liver diagnosis, angiography, and gynecological care.
It also applied 'Strain Elastography' function that allows automatic frame selection, reducing inspection time by 65% compared to current products.
"The new product is a model that has dramatically improved efficiency and user convenience based on Hitachi's advanced technology," a JW Medical official said. "We will settle down as a leading item in the domestic market based on competitiveness verified in the global market."
