To complete at the end of August... more than 70 units per day can be charged

A hydrogen charging station will be established in the National Assembly in Korea for the first time in the world. Hyundai Motor will hold a ceremony to kick off the construction of a hydrogen charging ceremony at the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul, on May 30. It is the first commercial hydrogen charging station in Seoul.

It is the world's first hydrogen charging station to enter the National Assembly, and it has great significance in that it will be set up in downtown Seoul. In particular, the National Assembly's hydrogen charging station is the first commercial hydrogen charging station in Seoul, and ordinary people and taxis drivers can charge hydrogen-electric cars, which is expected to contribute to boosting the supply of hydrogen-powered cars.

The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of August, and it will take about six months from the licensing to the final completion.

Usually it takes eight to 10 months to build a hydrogen charging station, but the total construction period was shortened as the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy approved it as the No. 1 regulatory sandbox project in February and the National Assembly, the government and related agencies actively cooperated with the installation.

The hydrogen charging station at the National Assembly will be constructed with a total area of 1,236.3 square meters on the side of the National Assembly, which is easily accessible from the main gate of the assembly.

It will be equipped with a charging capacity of 25 kg/h, which can charge more than five hydrogen-powered cars per hour. It will run from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. around the year, with more than 70 hydrogen-powered cars available a day.
