Insung Information, a smart healthcare company, said on June 3 that it has signed a strategic partner and exclusive supply contract with Israeli Rater Management Service.

It also established a partnership with global EwaveMD (EMD, EHR supplier) to jointly develop a cooperative model centered on smart healthcare centers.

The company already started tests for pilot projects with the South American region and Suriname and is also preparing smart healthcare telemedicine projects with developing countries such as Argentina, India, Angola, the Ivory Coast and Cameron.

The service model provides telemedicine services such as drug prescription and other medical services when individuals measure health information such as biometric information through "Hicare Hub." It is a useful health care model for areas where doctors are relatively scarce, depending on the region, a company official said.

In addition, it recently succeeded in obtaining Brazil's fussy ANVISA (food and drug certification) and INMETRO (electrical safety certification) for smart healthcare and started exporting to AMPLIMED, which has a partner contract.

Until now, only small pilot projects have been carried out due to certification issues, but official projects have been planned from the second half of this year, allowing the exports of remote medical equipment in earnest.

In addition, existing projects in the U.S. and Europe are also progressing smoothly, and overseas projects are gradually gaining ground, he said.

"This smart healthcare model is an extension of the technology-savvy smart healthcare model of Insung Information that has been proven by advancing into advanced markets such as the U.S. to developing countries. Not to mention a home care model centered on advanced countries, we will also develop a model consistent with regional characteristics to expand our overseas business greatly," said Insung Information CEO Won Jong-yoon.
