Yanolja, a global leisure platform company, has signed a business agreement with KORAIL, the leading rail enterprise in South Korea, to expand its travel and leisure culture.

Yanolja and Korail held a business agreement ceremony at the company's headquarters in southern Seoul on June 18 with attendance of major figures, including Cho Hyung-ik, head of KORAIL's passenger business division, and Lee Soo-jin, general CEO of Yanolja.

The two companies agreed to cooperate in activating the domestic tourism through real-time interworking of the pre-orders system for railway tickets, joint development of a comprehensive travel platform, development of cross-booking UI/UX between contents, and infrastructure.

First, tickets for KORAIL will be available on Yanolja app. Customers traveling to Korea will be able to book tickets for trains as well as accommodations, leisure and activities at one time on the Yanolja app.

It will also introduce travel curation services linked to railways. It plans to recommend related products and contents based on train tickets, accommodation and leisure and activity products purchased by customers to promote convenience for travelers.

Cho Hyung-ik said, "We will be able to use transportation to lodging conveniently without cumbersome procedures when we leave the trip. We will continue our efforts to spread the travel culture and boost domestic tourism."

"We want to be reborn as a comprehensive leisure platform that can encompass mobile devices through this collaboration. In the future, we will introduce various tourism products linked to railways and make efforts to contribute to boosting domestic tourism as well as increasing customer convenience," said Yanolja CEO Lee.
