On June, 13, CRMO (Central Radio Management Office) and the Korean Amateur Radio League Inc. (KARL) co-organized the "11th KARDF (Korea Amateur Radio Direction Finding) Contest" that participants find a hidden radio transmitter in with receiving equipment within the shortest possible time. This annual contest is held for improvement of wireless technology.

The competition will be held for individual and teams.  Anyone who wants to participate in this contest must register by June, 9, 2010 by calling KARL on 02-575-9580.

Participants need to prepare a receiving device, a compass, writing instruments and the organizers will provide an electronic punching system finger stick and map for the competition.

Since radio has become a key component to open the digital era and the motive for leading an information and communication society, CRMO is strongly involved in managing radio spectrums and broadcasting and communications to support radio communication environment for the public use.  KARL also promotes nterest in legitimate amateur radio communication and experimentation for the advancement and dissemination of radio technology for the provision of communication services for public welfare.
