Last month Smartphone domestic export sales reached USD 300 million for the first time which is 135 percent growth compared to a year ago. With this the market share of Smartphone has increased 0.2 point from the last fourth quarters, 5.2 percent. This index combines the sale of Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics.

At the same time, mobile phone exports decreased 29.8 percent. Experts said it is because the export price of non-Smartphone declines. Also the proportion of overseas production expenses brought the downturn of domestic exports.

Besides the mobile phone sector, semiconductors and display panel exports reached the highest for three months in a row. IT trade surplus was USD 6.88 billion U.S. dollars which is the maximum index ever and even 1.5 times higher than overall trade balance, USD 4.37 billion.

Meanwhile experts forecast that the Smartphone market in the world will become more competitive due to Smartphone's full-scale launch in the second half.
