Samsung Display said on Aug. 15 that Galaxy Note 10 has obtained 'Excellent A+', which is the highest rating in image quality evaluation conducted by DisplayMate of the U.S.

According to the results of Galaxy Note 10, which was released by DisplayMate, it has proved that Galaxy Note 10 is equipped with best display that exists as it surpasses performance of Galaxy Note 9, its previous model, in major evaluation items such as brightness, reflection rate, color accuracy, and blue light.

Galaxy Note 10 series are 6.8-inch and 6.3-inch OLED (organic light-emitting diode) with respective resolution of QHD+ (3040×1440) and FHD+ (2280×1080). In particular, screens account for about 94 percent of all screens featuring full screens filled with the front except for front camera hole. Hole displays were first applied to Galaxy S10, which was released in March.

According to DisplayMate, the highest brightness of the Galaxy Note 10 is measured at 1308 cd/m2, a sharp improvement of around 25 percent from the previous Note 9 model's "1050 cd/m2."

Visitors experience the product at the Samsung Galaxy Unpack 2019 held at Barclays Center in New York on August 7.

The reflectance rate was measured at 4.3 percent, the lowest level among existing displays. By providing brighter and clearer screens than before, the company is said to have upgraded its "outdoor visibility" to a new level through an innovative increase in brightness and improved reflectivity. In addition, it also reduced its harmful blue light by 37.5 percent compared to its predecessor.

"It is the world's best smartphone display. Samsung is systematically improving its OLED display," said DisplayMate.
