LG Electronics will hold an e-sports event called "LG UltraGear Festival" at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul for two days from Aug. 31.
LG Electronics is planning to display a large number of PCs and monitors for UltraGear games by organizing an experience booth at the venue. It also prepared events for visitors to enjoy, such as a global college student battleground game contest and a celebration performance for idol groups.
At the event, LG Electronics will also unveil "UltraGear 17," a game laptop that will be released on Sept. 9. The laptop comes with a large screen, high performance and portability.
Its resolution is 2,560X1,600, weighs 1.95 kilograms and is 19.9 millimeters thick. NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 1650 GPU is installed and optimized for games.
Inside, two cooling fans are installed to quickly discharge internal heat outside. NVMe SSD and DDR4 memory can be additionally installed.
"Through this event, LG Electronics will make LG's high-performance UltraGear widely known to a wide range of customers as well as gamers," said Sohn Dae-ki, a marketing official at LG Electronics' Korean sales headquarters.
