The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Vancouver held an event to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Korean War on Jun 25 at the consulate general's residence that was to thank veterans.
The event designed to express gratitude for the dedication and noble sacrifice of the veterans of the Korean War. 120 key members of the Korean community including Canadian veterans and their families, members of the Korean War Veterans Association, Senator Yonah Martin, Member of Parliament for Cloverdale City of Langley , John Aldag, Congresswoman Mary Polak BC (daughter of the veterans), and Mayor Richard Stewart, City of Coquitlam were attended to the ceremony.
