Lineage2M, which had been hidden, was finally unveiled.
NCSOFT (NC) introduced its new mobile MMORPG "Lineage2M" on Sept. 5 at "The Raum" in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul. CCO Kim Taek-jin opened the event as chief creative officer (CCO) of NC.
“Lineage2M marks the gold standard for NCSOFT mobile game development. There will be no mobile games in the next few years that will be able to match with technological advancements in Lineage2M,” Kim said. “Lineage2M will reenact the bold spirit of challenge and the technological advancements, just like what we demonstrated with Lineage 2 back in 2003.”
Lineage2M is a mobile game that follows the legitimacy of the PC online MMORPG Lineage 2, which was released in 2003. NC introduced Lineage 2M that is applied with innovative technology that goes beyond the limits of current mobile games.
Lineage2M has implemented mobile-leading 4K UHD FULL 3D graphics, mobile 3D MMORPG's first collision-handling technology, Seamless Loading, which excludes all elements that cut off play, and mobile's largest "One Channel Open World", which allows more than 10,000 people to engage in large-scale battles.
NC will start the Lineage 2M pre-booking promotion on Sept. 5 at noon. It is going to be held simultaneously on Lineage2M's official homepage, Google Play, and Apple's App Store until before its release. Pre-orders can receive game items after the game is released.
NC plans to release Lineage2M sometime during the fourth quarter of this year.
