NCSOFT (NC) announced on Sept. 6 that its new mobile game "Lineage2M" has surpassed 2 million pre-orders.
On Sept. 5, NC launched a pre-booking promotion at noon. It achieved 2 million pre-orders in 18 hours after the promotion began. It is the shortest time in game history. It broke LineageM's record.
Pre-booking Lineage2M will take place on Lineage2M's official website, Google Play and Apple's App Store until the game's release. Pre-booking participants can receive game items such as "the Ring of the Chronicle". "The Ring of the Chronicle" means continuing the Chronicle of the original Lineage2 in Lineage2M.
Lineage2M Cinematic SNS sharing events will also be held. NC will present "Galaxy Note 10" to 10 participants and "Google Gift Card" to 1,000 participants. Participation in the event is available on the official website.
NC will hold additional events to celebrate the achievement of 2 million pre-orders. A gift will be given to participants who have left congratulatory messages including the word "fate" on the event board of Lineage2M's official website.
NC plans to release Lineage2M sometime during the fourth quarter of this year.
