
The international LED expo and OLED expo 2010 opened this morning at 11:30 am in the KINTEX. Over 250 companies were prepared to meet buyers from all over the world including Kuwait, Vietnam and Germany. The seminar on LED and OLED attended by government, academia and industry is also hosted in the KINTEX venue for the next three days.
The seminar opened with a presentation from Guo Qi Zhang of Philips Lighting in the Netherlands that gave an over view of trends and also observations of shifts in the value chain for the industry as well as a call for greater collaboration by stakeholders of the industry, including academia, governments, industry and consumers, to fast track the vision towards industrialisation and reduced costs.

The exhibition proper was opened by industry dignitaries and the openeing ceremony was well attended by pundits from around the globe. The exhibition runs until June 25th at the KINTEX. The seminar is open for day-to-day attendance.
