Choi Si Joong, the chairman of the KCC (Korean Communications Commission) had a conference in Angola on June 21, 2010. He met with Minister Hosha of Angola's Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. By the end of the conference, they agreed upon an MOU for partnership between Korea and Angola to improve ICT technology and boost related services in Angola. Through this advancement, both sides hope to develop a strong partnership and strive towards improvement and expansion.
During the conference, they discussed current information and communications policies and regulations. Also, they talked about setting up and improving certain services including WiBro, DMB, IPTV and other fused information and communication services within Angola. In addition, they both agreed that they should start developing a specialist work force for related areas for service consistency and constant improvements and advancements.
After all the meetings concluded, ANGOP, TPA, TV-Record Angola and TV-Zimbo interviewed Minister Hosha and Chairman Choi regarding details of this MOU. These networks broadcasted these interviews and received lots of interest.
