Asiana Airlines has been selected as the official carrier of the seventh International Electric Vehicle Expo.
Asiana Airlines will participate as the official airline of the seventh International Electric Vehicle Expo to be held at Jeju International Convention Center from April 29 to May 2 this year.
The International Electric Vehicle Expo, the world’s only pure electric vehicle expo, aims to establish an EV network and establish a "B2B site" through exhibitions and conferences, and has been held in Jeju every year to maximize the image of eco-friendly electric vehicles.
In particular, the 7th International Electric Vehicle Expo, which will be held under the theme of The New Definition e-Mobility, is expected to attract more than 50,000 visitors from Korea and abroad, including a conference consisting of 40 sessions and B2B program.
"We are pleased that Asiana Airlines will be able to join the 7th International Electric Vehicle Expo," an Asiana Airlines official said. "We plan to continue to consult with the organizing committee on mutual cooperation and joint marketing measures for the successful hosting of the expo."
Meanwhile, the international event, which started in 2014, has become a representative expo in Korea in name and reality, with an accumulated number of visitors reaching 350,000.
