Samsung Electronics said on March 12 that its 2020 QLED 8K TV is receiving positive reviews from overseas IT-specialized media.
HD Guru, a U.S. IT media outlet, said that QLED 8K(Q800T) is equipped with the best picture and sound by citing "Dazzling-preventing technology 2.0," which reduces light reflection on the screen, "Ultra Viewing Angle" and "Real Game Enhancer+" that enables the best quality, sound and response speed specialized for games.
U.S. tech expert group AVS Forum said that QLED 8K (Q800T) is "fantastic in both design and sound," and selected it as the "top choice" of 2020 for any use such as living room, game and home theater.”
Referring to smartphones equipped with recently launched 8K cameras, the AVS Forum predicted that the supply and demand of insufficient 8K contents will be smooth, accelerating the spread of 8K TVs.
The U.S. IT media Techaeris called the QLED 8K (Q800T) "Editor's Choice," saying, "It has become more sophisticated in terms of quality that consumers consider most important when purchasing TVs."
Techaeris particularly praised the QLED 8K's contrast ratio. The media outlet stressed that "QLED 8K is a TV that viewers can enjoy the details of light and shade that content has."
"The reason why Samsung's QLED 8K is receiving positive reviews overseas is because it has been innovated in all aspects, including the quality, sound and design," said Chu Jong-seok, vice president of Samsung Electronics' video display division.
