VIPs Show High Interest in Seoul Motor Show 2009

Prime Minister Han Seung-soo visited the Seoul Motor Show 2009 on April 3.

During the tour, Prime Minister Han kept on throwing the word hybrid out into the converstaion and made a pretty clear note that the government is paying close attention to eco-friendly solutions.

Kathleen Stephens, United States ambassador to Korea, was also on the show floor on April 3.  After spending a lot of time at the Ford Korea and Hanli Gong-jo booths, she visited the World Automotive History Hall and spotted a Ford Model T, made in 1915.

Ambassador Stephens and the spokesman of  the World Automotive History Hall carried on an exciting conversation regarding the  Ford Model T (1915).  "A friend of mine drives a Ford Taurus and I have ridden in it with her.  I especially liked the spacious room inside of the car.  Very comfortable as well," said Ambassador Stephens at the Ford Korea booth, while endorsing Ford as the US representative.

Very Shiny Persons (VSP) shone on the show floor as well.  Top celebrities visited the show floor to speak on be half of the cars. Korea's top actor Lee Sung-jae posed next to Ford New Mustang.

I feel like this is a surprise party that was thrown just for me   I can't believe Actor Lee Sung-jae showed up" twenty year old college student Ms. Kim said in excitement.

Girls

Girls' Generation, a top idol group in Korea, on the other hand highlighted GM Daewoo's New Generation Matiz concept car.

"I guess GM Daewoo is not dead yet, it was so sensible of them to put Girls' Generation on stage to speak on be half of New Generation Matiz," said Ms. Min at the Press briefing.   Girl's Generation gave their performance on their hit song "Gee" after President Michael A. Grimaldi gave an opening speech of GM Daewoo's vision.
