SM Entertainment and Naver signed an MOU to push for joint global projects to strengthen their global entertainment competitiveness.

Through the MOU, the two companies will strengthen cooperation in various fields to secure differentiated partnerships in the global entertainment market and strengthen their global business competitiveness.

Through this partnership, the two companies will expand their business for video contents focusing on global markets.

By combining SM's ability to produce entertainment content and Naver's experience and technology in operating global platforms, they plan to show new video content based on digital technology and infrastructure around the global market.

They will also work together to expand the global market for the "Fanship" platform, a global membership community, with the mixture of SM's expertise in discovering and producing global artists and Naver's technology.

Naver's "Fanship" platform, introduced last year, is a new type of global community platform that stars design and build their own membership for fans based on big data.

As part of this, the live concert streaming service "Beyond LIVE" will begin in mid-April. Beyond relaying existing offline performances online, the "Beyond LIVE" service will offer a form of digital concert content optimized online.
