The teaching and learning development center of Sehan University signed an agreement with the Jungnang Education and Welfare Center on learning sharing to build learning infrastructure on April 29.
The agreement was attended by three officials from Sehan University's faculty learning development center, including Cho Hye-young, director of the center, and five officials from the Jungnang Education and Welfare Center, including Han Hyo-won, director of the Jungnang welfare Center, Sehan University said on May 25.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to form an educational network to operate service learning based on the needs of children and teenagers.
"Educational cooperation through this business agreement will lead to enhancing global competitiveness of children and teenagers who are alienated from learning," said Han, head of the Jungnang welfare center.
Meanwhile, Cho, director of the teaching and development center, said, "The formation of an educational network in the local community will be a significant turning point for students at Sehan University to demonstrate their learning capabilities," adding, "We will provide high-quality learning through the establishment of a learning infrastructure."
Sehan University's teaching and learning development center operates major and global learning through the Learning & Teaching English (LTE) program and the LTS (Learning & Teaching Scaffolding) program to promote win-win development with the region. With the pact, the school plans to implement a service learning that has expanded its education infrastructure.
